NecroStein- If you could pick one author you'd love to collaborate with who would it be?

 

Billie Sue Mosiman -Maybe Dennis Lehane. I like his clean writing style and the way he tells a story. Ask me another day and it will be someone else!

 

NS-if you had the opportunity to write horror movie scripts would you.

 

Billie- I don’t think so. I am a novelist and story writer. Scriptwriting, I think, is best left in the hands of scriptwriters.

 

NS- Can you tell the readers a little bit about Star Sparkled , the story you submitted for the spotlight? Does this stem from anything?

 

Billie- I had an aged great aunt who when I was just a girl acted the way the woman in the story behaves. She had been a widow a long time and began to believe her lover was coming to take her away. She sat on the steps every night with a packed suitcase.

 

NS-When you started writing, was there any specific genre you had in mind?

 

Bilie- Suspense. I liked the (then new) work King was doing, but my interests were more in the psychological area, the area of crime and punishment, and the repercussions a person with an aberrant mind could rain down on those around him/her.
