This is more or less found footage, but that being said it wasn't hokey like the stuff we have been barraged with lately. A crew of a video techie named Gray ( Robin Hill ) and a Deacon (Gordon Kennedy) from the church were sent to a rumored haunted church to investigate claims of paranormal activity. The church used to be an orphanage and children were disappearing without a trace, so the orphanage shut down and the building got converted into a church. The priest of the church seems very shaken up but will not leave even when a presence attacks him. Strange cries of children can be heard behind the walls and things get tossed around by unseen hands scaring parishioners from attending church there. The crew are told to go in and gather evidence that the haunting is a hoax. They scan walls for hidden speakers, pews and walls for wires and even mount cameras to capture any foul play. But this church and the land it's on holds a sinister secret. In the course of discovering this secret you get to watch a priest commit suicide and a little bit of "Blair Witch" type goings on. I will warn you that this movie is NOT fast paced. You have to have a little patience with it. But it is definitely, in my opinion, worth checking out. 3 1/2 out of 5 rating
