Wow.....just wow. I don't even know how to begin this review. So why not just start where I feel comfortable. BUBBA and CLEETUS is without a doubt up there with some of the most absurd yet highly entertaining stories I've ever read. Every single time I turned the page I let out a school girl yelp. One that was fairly embarrassing , I might add. I'm a grown man who considers himself, one of the "nasties", yet this story made me giggle like a girl scout getting her cookie badge. Not since Beavis and Buthead or Terry West's CECIL AND BUBBA's escapades have I watched two buddies get themselves into some interesting circumstances and adored every second of it!!!

 

Only this duo would be a couple of flies. Yep you heard me right, Damn flies. One , your typical fatty leader fly, the other not so typical in most stories as the lackey follower..He's a bit different as I will explain. Granted he is still the slow one but one with a kick ass skaters flap which makes him resemble a young Elvis who slicks his bangs back with his dinner, poo, because he doesn't dig his hair in his eyes . I can't make this stuff up people. This comes straight from the mind of R. Archer, author of such nasty tales that'll make you avoid Jell-O or pudding forever such as FATHER DOOM ,Archer does it again. Only this time he makes your repulsively laugh instead of shiver in abject horror. BUBBA AND CLEETUS is awesome!!!

 

Herein this little dandy you have the duo literally consuming the body of Christ after meeting the lord of the flies Beelzubub, then off to humping and mouth humping a robotic fly used in a military experiment and the one that started it all BZZZZZZZZZZZZ. It's all that and a bag of turds folks. Remember Stinky from the REN AND STIMPY SHOW? That's what reading this reminded me of, yet taken to the next level. This could easily be seen on Adult Swim, without a doubt, right alongside Robin Dovers ASS BABY.

 

There's even an activity book included with word search, coloring book, connect the lines of a picture of their favorite meal and a theme song....What in the hell is going through this guys mind, but I must admit I'm sold!! That was a perfect ending to a perfectly funny ass story.
