Fresh out of the grisly little piece that is called WHAT PRICE GORY? Is my favorite tale of the anthology, possibly my favorite he’s written “Cecil and Bubba Meet Succubus”. “Cecil and Bubba Meet a Succubus” is about a pair of dimwitted hillbilly buddies who piss off an old drunken woman who curses them, thus setting up their affair with a "Suck -a bus". Well now you can soon get your hands on a very sweet one shot authors’ edition with liner notes and extra goodies….Extra goodies are great and Mr. West has always been good about giving you that one bad ass tater tot in the middle or your order of French Fries.

 

The characters Cecil and Bubba experience all sorts of zany situations and even meet a “Thang”. I must admit when I see anything with Cecil McGee and Turner “Bubba” Teague in it I get excited. They may very well be my favorite dimwitted duo ever. West has once before tackled the famed succubus tale with the surprise hit filled with a miraculous cast in FLESH FOR THE BEAST and thoroughly enjoyed that one as well. Even the character herein that coerces the boys into the adventure as well is loosely based off Sergio Jonses’ character to the “T”. Maybe he should write more about the succubus. Seriously however, I recommend picking this bad boy up and while you’re at it go get WHAT PRICE GORY? You’ll be in for one creepy night.
