Dark Exorcist revolves around the lives of four main characters. Four main characters who's lives cross paths in this creepy little demonic tale. Officer Roman is summoned to a distress call of a teenage girl having 'a moment, if you will.  As he assesses the situation he quickly notices the ass whipping the girl is putting on every one who touches her and does his best to overcome her supernatural like strength. As he takes her to the hospital we meet the local chaplain Father Pierce who examines the girl. His findings as well as her actions lead him to turn to the higher ups and ask the Vatican for help. Once they deem the situation worthy they send our last combatant,  Father Harlan. Father Harlan explains what has to be done and what's expected from everyone and alas the story begins.

 

Miller pens a cryptic eerie little tale that keeps you wandering till the very end who's telling the truth and who's lying. It may well make you question your faith. It seems that if they want to save the girls life that they must endure their own demons. Is it the girl and her demons that's the bad guy or are they? From start to finish Dark Exorcist is plain and simply scary and tense. It's concrete direction captures your mind and sends you on an adventure that's not easily forgotten. I could continue discussing this story but that would just ruin it for you.  Go pick it up and read it.  If you're a fan of Exorcist III or Devil Inside then Dark Exorcist is for you. Trust me, you won't be disappointed.
