Dir. Ursula Dabrowski

Victim: Cassandra Kane

Billie is a young woman virtually a prisoner in her own home. Her abusive alcoholic mother keeps her in the house and forbids her to go outside. One day she accidentally kills her mother and buries her in the back yard. Not long after, however, she soon finds out that even in death, mother still knows what's best for her daughter. From what I'm told, FAMILY DEMONS was completed on a shoestring budget in no time. Given the fact of the budget, one would state that this film isn't any good..I wholeheartedly beg to differ. I personally have seen it four times already and have the intention on watching it again very soon.

The usage of the surrounding sets set forth from the filming location help add to the complete eeriness that is FAMILY DEMONS. It's just a balls out good story. All in all I cant find anything bad about this film. Kane's performance involving her sitting on the floor covered in blood was chilling. I felt it very reminiscent of the scene from INSIDE. Her devotion to her character shines brightly in this film. I for one am curious to see if Cassandra Kane pursues an acting career further. Bottom line...the perfection of a dreary ambience and spot on acting made for a visually entertaining film. For a freshman effort such as this

I'm excited to see what Dabrowski can do next with better resources in INNER DEMONS.
