Rog Archer was cool enough to send me his latest grisly dive into the depraved and creepy, INSANE BEDTIME STORIES. We start the read off with a short and sweet tale about a retired erotica author wanna-be named “Creepy Karl” , who’s a little creepier then most truly believe. By this point, you’re at attention and ready for the next nasty little morsel of chocolate known as “Deranged Jim”. Deranged Jim is a story I think is quickly become an urban legend. We’ve all heard about that one roommate that flips out and goes psycho one night, right? Thus is such the tale making up Deranged Jim.

 

 

The Vessel of God is just an outright messed up story pertaining to matricide. The only thing right about this is the story itself. It’s a fantastically creepy story just the content is one that you’d prefer to not have read because once you do its sticking there! Trust me. You visualize it long after reading. Now Imaginary Friend graces the pages and you’re happy at the results, saddened yes, yet happy none the less at what you just read. It was a really morbid little bitch. Sadly we round out tonight’s read with a very refreshing twist on the theory on creation of zombies do to the Grim Reapers actions in Death Takes a Holiday.

 

INSANE BEDTIME STORIES is a very short read but it is exactly what the title suggests Insane! Inside these pages lay very graphically vivid tales that leaves a creepy aftertaste in your mouth....the more you think of some of the tales the nastier they become. Highly recommended
