A group of college students visit a secluded vacation home to celebrate their upcoming graduation. The fun doesn't last long when a sadistic psychopath forces them to participate in his deadly contest. The rules are simple -- in order to survive they must kill each other. They have till 6 a.m. Just released from an insane asylum the psychopath for allegedly killing his mountain climbing crew while they were dangerously hanging literally by a thread. He wants to prove a point. As tension builds, and relationships begin to crumble, they realize that only one can make it out alive. Could you trust your boyfriend? Your girlfriend? Your best friend? Only one can go home. So who will be the last man or woman standing? This sets up a plot that’s been done so many times I can’t even fathom. The difference with KILL THEORY is the director held nothing back and made it the way this story should be told.

As previously stated the story’s been done but the solid direction uncoupled with a beautifully lit ambient themes. The lighting was just right to show the ample amount of blood you get to accompany the fire pokers to the eye, the numerous objects smacking into the face and the separation of body parts. The tension builds immediately in this film and doesn’t let up till the very end. I’ve seen this film twice in as many days and honestly wouldn’t have an issue watching it again. It was refreshing for once to watch a good solid old school styled all out betrayal in vein of 2LDK or The War of the Roses. One other aspect that works out very well oddly is the sever love story that surrounds this hell fest. KILL THEORY is a cool movie. Check it out.
