Offered as a one shot shortie, SANTA CHRIST AND THE X-MAS MIRACLE tells the tale of Cleve a relic hunter scouring the wastelands for rusty gold in the year 2090. Set up much like that of a MAD MAX or DOOMSDAY (primitive dialect and all)in a time where most of civilization has been decimated and Cleve exists by scavenging, trading with mutants at supply huts to feed himself. Cleve observes a calendar that few acknowledge. Soon, it will be the day that he most looks forward to: December 25th. This day celebrates the birthday of our savior, Santa Christ. Cleve needs an Xmas miracle. And a gruesome one is heading his way!

 

SANTA CHRIST AND THE X-MAS MIRACLE was penned by husband and wife Terry and Regina West. I've read many of Mr. Wests work but nothing of Mrs.West till this point. I think it's safe to say that at least the one i have read was very much so worth it. As stated the surrounding aqccompanied by the caveman-ish dialect plays out very well in the Sci Fi universe and very well could be mistaken for an old article from an EC Comics or Tales From The Crypt magazines. All in all this little one shot has just the ample amount of laughs and horrific situations to appease a ton of readers...pick it up . It can be purchased as a one shot single or also found on the anthology When the Red Snow Melts. Now i want to read something else by Regina. Very cool story. You just can't do wrong by this family! They do have somm strange imiganitions, that's for sure.
