If you're in the mood for some good ol fashioned popcorn styled urban legend story telling then look no further. VOLUMES OF BLOOD will definitely insatiate your palate for blood.

 

.A sociology student gathers several friends at the local library on Halloween night to help him create a new urban legend with deadly consequences.VOLUMES OF BLOOD is made up of several little short stories ranging from deadly energy drinks to my favorite about a girl named Sidney who's allowed to stay in the library after hours and awakens after midnight only to learn of the things that dwell in the library after midnight. Or does she?

 

These tales are accompanied by the finale that informs us that this has been the set of a movie run by your typical douchebag director, played hilariously by P.J. Starks. Barking orders at everyone and acts like he's some well known director played hilariously by he gets just what he dishes out..All in all I found nothing wrong with this movie.It made me feel like i was a teeneager again watching some straight up old school goodness!! much kudos go out to all involved in the making of this fine film. It's shot very very well with perfect ambience and soundscapes and the actors deliver believable performances. As it plays out like an old 80s slasher VOLUMES OF BLOOD brings back an almost extinct genre and does it justice.
