Let me start out by saying this was one of the coolest stories I've read in quite some time. Much like his previous body of work HELL, TEXAS, this little gem has some serious ass beatings and torturous activities a plenty. Colt Stillman was a small town sheriff of Peace, Texas when he was wrongfully convicted of murder. After twenty years in prison, he returns to Peace for his pound of flesh. Driven by pure rage, he teams up with his brother and a gang of thugs.

 

Together, they wreak havoc on the town of Peace unlike anything seen before. No one in the town is safe. For one night, it’s every man, woman and child for themselves as townspeople are subjected to some of the worst atrocities imaginable in the middle of the streets. Some discover horrors no one has thought of yet. Who will survive this Night of Vengeance?

 

I have to admit I was highly impressed with Night of Vengeance . To this point I believe I've read the majority of his work and let me tell you the man has progressed. Night of Vengeance is by far my favorite story of his. The descriptiveness laid out on paper is so precise it feels as if you're watching a movie of what you're reading. To be precise it felt as if i was reading the script of Last House on the Left meets The Purge..More so along the lines of The Purge story with the violent tendencies of LHOtL. The action is balls out( literally )on so many occasions and it seems that as if author Tim Miller may have found a niche in the art of torture tales.

 

Night of vengeance is like a freigh train of pure filth and vindication. At the turn of each page you find yourself closing one eye wincing then remeber, it's only a book. or is it? I can go on and on about the aspects that made this such a damn fine read but then you wouldn't need to read it yourself, and I damn sure aren't taking that away from anyone!!!! TEXAS TERROR ENTERTAINMENT completely backs this tale.
